Sail Washing

Sail Washing

Sail washing extends the life and look of your sail, helping you get the most out of your investment. Since automatic washing machines and other agitators can shorten a sail's lifespan, we soak each sail in fabric-appropriate cleaning agents for twenty-four hours before it is gone over by hand. Then sails are hung to dry in a climate-controlled environment, followed by final inspection before flaking for pickup or delivery. These time-tested procedures attack the most common Florida problems - dried salt crystals which chew the fibers, and air pollution which discolor the fabric and covers - leaving you with sails that last longer and look better.
