The Main for the Com-Pac 16 (II or III) is built from a white 3.9 oz. Dacron made by Challenge Sailcloth, America's premier manufacturer of woven sailcloth. It includes 3 partial battens. The sail attaches along the luff with a bolt rope that slides up into the mast tunnel. A drawstring sailbag is included for storage.
One set of reef points is included in the sail. Please note, when ordering, it is important to confirm your Compac 16 is a Model 2 or 3, the version the has spreaders on the mast, built in 1984 and later with hull numbers greater than 2202. The original Model 1 did not have spreaders, and the mainsail is a little different.
